When mom discovers “why” the stranger continued visit to the soldier’s grave in secret, she seeks him down.

Losing a kid is the worst kind of pain. Sadly, parents of military personnel who have children assigned in far, foreign nations daily worry about their children’s safety.

Staff Sergeant Joseph Villasenor of the United States Air Force has the deepest devotion for his nation. Regrettably, this valiant guy died at the age of 36 years old after serving for 16 years. Raymond and Rachel Villasenor, his parents, were devastated. Their son’s disappearance left them speechless. The battle to deal with the pain was significant. They related the tragic events surrounding their son’s passing and the enigmatical occurrence that followed.

They were visiting Joseph’s cemetery in the Garden Park Cemetery in Arlington, Texas, one day when they observed something peculiar: almost all of the other graves were covered with dead grass and dirt, but their son’s was covered with a trail of lovely, green grass.

They would have no idea what was going on.

However, a chance encounter between their daughter and an elderly man named Jake Reissig a few months earlier was something they were unaware of.

Jake, it turned out, was bringing flowers to the grave of his late wife when he noticed Joseph’s sister sobbing over his body. He was compelled to approach and inquire as to her cause of tears. She said that her brother had lately passed away, leaving the entire family close to tears and in mourning. Although Jake couldn’t make her feel better, he could take some action to show them that he cared.

He made the choice to visit Joseph’s grave with flowers. Also, he daily hydrated the grass.

When Rachel and her husband Raymond visited their son’s cemetery one day, they saw that it was completely decorated with lovely flowers. They felt better after seeing it. They were unsure of who to thank for the admirable act, though.

They eventually discovered that Jake was in charge of the tombstone.

They were in tears over Jake’s generous act. Words could not express their gratitude to this elderly man.

We need others to show us they care about us amid the difficult moments we go through in life. Thank you, Jake; person like you contribute to a better society.
