Out of all living creatures, kids are the most innocent. They often get into trouble because they’re honest and say what’s on their minds.
But that’s just the way kids are; grown-ups shouldn’t get mad at them for being themselves. A student once gave a memorable “show-and-tell” presentation about childbirth to their primary school teacher.
The little girl’s comments were so interesting that her story has been shared on social media for a long time, making people laugh.
A teacher from a grammar school tells a story: “I’ve been teaching for about fifteen years. I have two kids of my own, but the most memorable birth story I’ve ever witnessed happened in my own second-grade classroom a few years ago.”
“Usually, show-and-tell is quite simple. Kids bring in their pet turtles, toy airplanes, pictures of fish they’ve caught, things like that. I never set any rules or limits on what they can bring. If they want to bring it to school and talk about it, it’s fine.”
“One day, a bright and outgoing girl named Erica took her turn for show-and-tell. She came to the front of the class with a pillow under her sweater and showed a picture of a baby. She said, ‘This is Luke, my baby brother, and I’ll tell you about his birth. First, Mommy and Daddy made him because they loved each other. Then Daddy planted a seed in my mother’s stomach, and Luke grew there. He ate for 9 months through an umbrella cord.’ I tried not to laugh, and the other kids were amazed, watching her.”
“Then, about two Saturdays ago, my mother started going, ‘Oh, oh, oh!'” Erica imitates her mother, holding her back and groaning. “She walked around the house for, like an hour, saying, ‘Oh, oh, oh!’ Now this kid is doing this funny walk, holding her back and groaning. ‘My father called the midwife. She’s the one who helps with baby deliveries, but her car doesn’t have a sign like the Domino’s delivery guy. They got my mother to lie down in bed like this.'” Erica lies down with her back against the wall. “‘And then, pop! My mother had this bag of water inside her in case the baby got thirsty, and it just burst and spilled all over the bed, like psshhheew!'”
The child had her legs apart and was using her small hands to show water flowing away. It was overwhelming!
“Then the person helping with the birth starts saying push, push, and breathe, breathe. They start counting, but they didn’t even reach 10. Suddenly, my brother comes out. He was covered in yucky stuff they said was from the place where we play, so there must be a lot of stuff inside there.”
“Then Erica got up, took a big, dramatic bow, and went back to her seat. I’m pretty sure I clapped the hardest. Since that day, if it’s show-and-tell, I bring my video camera, just in case we have another Erica.”

The Angel touched her cheeks and said, ‘Lord, it looks like there’s a leak in this creation! You’ve given her too many burdens.’
The Lord corrected the Angel, saying, ‘She’s not leaking. That’s a tear.’
The Angel asked, ‘What’s the tear for?’
The Lord explained, ‘Tears are how she shows her sadness, doubts, love, being alone, pain, and pride.’
The Angel was deeply impressed and said, ‘Lord, you’re brilliant. You’ve considered everything. Women are truly amazing.’
The Lord said, ‘Yes, she is remarkable. She has a strength that can surprise a man. She can deal with problems, carry heavy loads, and she holds happiness, love, and her own thoughts.
‘She smiles when she wants to shout. She sings when she wants to cry, cries when she’s happy, and laughs when she’s scared. She stands up for her beliefs.’
Her love has no conditions. She feels sad when a family member or friend passes away, but she gathers the strength to continue with life.”
The Angel questioned, ‘So, is she a perfect being?’
The Lord answered, ‘No, she has just one flaw.’
‘She sometimes forgets her own value.’
