When they went to a nearby coffee shop for coffee, New Jersey firefighters Paul Hulling and Tim Young had just finished a 12-hour shift fighting a massive fire at a warehouse in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

After Liz overheard the two men talking about their jobs, she decided she wanted to be nice to them both.
However, Liz wept when she saw how they reacted to her kind gesture.
After an overnight shift that included a warehouse fire, firefighters Tim Young and Paul Hullings stopped at the Route 130 Diner in Delran, according to WPVI.
For miles, the enormous fire could be seen. Mastering it took a long time and a lot of hard work. The helpful waiter wanted to express her gratitude after learning about the difficult day.
Liz made the decision to reward the men for their efforts after hearing their conversation.
Tim and Paul noticed something off about their receipt when they got out.
The young waiter made the decision to pay for their meal and also left a note on the back of the ticket for them to read.

Tim Young posted a picture of the check to Facebook along with an invitation to his friends to go to the diner and give a lot if Woodward served them.
ABC6 reported that Tim Young recalled, “When it was time to count, we turned it around and he decided to count it himself.”
Paul Hullings, a colleague of mine, began to weep because it made him feel good that a stranger cared so much about the firefighters.
However, the story did not end there.
Tim Young quickly found out that Liz Woodard was attempting to raise funds for her paralyzed father Steve, who had a brain aneurysm.
Young and Hullings wanted to help spread the word about Liz’s GoFundMe campaign December to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van for her paralyzed father.
To assist Liz in achieving her objective, the two firefighters wanted to do everything in their power. The initial goal of the GoFundMe page was $17,000. However, with the assistance of firefighters, it raised more than $86,500.
“Spread the word as much as possible,” Young said.
Liz was shocked by the kind and compassionate act of Young and Hullings and began to cry when she heard about it. Liz said in a tearful voice, “I don’t even know what to say to that.” “What a wonderful way to start the day. This is amazing. I had no idea how this day would end up.”
