Roy and Bernita Rogers of Kansas City, Missouri, discussed their hopes for a large family.
However, things did not go as planned when they tried to have a child.
The couple had to deal with three premature births just a few years into their marriage. They never lost hope despite the destruction.
Bernita made the decision to acquire a cat to fill the void left by not having children; something he could focus on and love.
Midnight, a stunning black kitten, not only became an important family member but also signaled the beginning of something wonderful.
Bernita became pregnant shortly after the couple brought Midnight home, and she gave birth to a beautiful girl.
Stacey, their young daughter, became best friends with Midnight, and the cat became her greatest guardian.
They took their sweet little girl to the doctor when she started to show signs of being ill. The doctor told them not to worry because it was just a cold.
Knowing that the baby monitor was on and that Midnight was coming, Roy and Bernita laid their infant down at home.
They did, however, hear the most bizarre screams coming from the screen shortly thereafter.
“It was screams, screams, and more screams. “I jumped out of my chair and ran up the stairs because it was enough to scare me,” Bernita said.
Stacey was struggling to breathe when her worried parents ran into her room.
When Stacey’s skin began to turn blue, they rushed her to the emergency room, where they were informed that their infant was completely unconscious.
With treatment she started to recuperate, yet assuming that they had left her longer who realizes what could have occurred.
Thanks to midnight, they were warned in time. Despite their wonderful qualities, some people are wary of black cats. This cat is a superhero and deserving of special attention and a big hug.
My cat has the same ability to sense things that we do not.
He remains nearby me when I feel hurt and when I feel down, he comes to my chest and contacts my face and takes a gander at me affectionately.
Many people believe that cats are stupid. Cats are very intelligent. That was a touching story.
