One in eight million births experiences this! She is a young girl who has wowed medical professionals all over the world. They have never seen anything like this and presently they are crying with satisfaction! She is the most unusual child on earth. Exactly why!
Every child is unique in their own way, but Lucy Marie Perkins seems to be a little bit more unique than the others. She became one of 8 million children who share a birthday with both of their parents when she was born.
Caitlin and Tom Perkins, Lucy’s parents, were both born on August 16th. They joked that their baby girl might be born on the same day because they love that they share a birthday and that Caitlin was due in August. They had no idea at the time that it would become a reality.
“Call for further!”Dr. Brad Robinson, Caitlin’s obstetrician, wrote on Wednesday on his Facebook page “This is unbelievable!” when he announced the baby’s unique birth, in which his mother and father celebrated his birthday together.
“Can you tell me who else’s birthday is right now on August 16?” Yes, Lucy had a spontaneous birth yesterday, on the same day as her parents!
Caitlin and Tom, both from Dirranband in South West Queensland, were looking for a place to celebrate their joint birthday because they thought it would be fun. Caitlin thought Lucy would be born in a few days when she was 39 weeks pregnant, but the sweet baby just wouldn’t wait.
The proud mother provided an explanation, “When my water broke, I said ‘no’ because I said no.” Caitlin was transported to the Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane. Lucy was 3.3 kg in weight.
The day Lucy was born, according to Dr. Robinson, who has been an obstetrician for more than a decade, was one of her most vivid memories.
He stated, “I’m fortunate to have a job where I get special days off on special days,” but “today was amazing.”
Around 2:15 a.m. i got a phone call grom the midwife saying that Caitlin’s water had broken and im so happy because I was pushing for it.
