People occasionally enter our lives, and it takes a long time for us to realize how much they mean to us.
Angela Nguyen was one of those people for a man by the name of Lee Haase.
Over the years, Domino’s employee Angela has delivered hundreds of pizzas. Lee is one of a large number of her regular clients.
Every Saturday, Lee would place an order for pizza, and Angela would always deliver it.
But one Saturday, the orders just ceased.
Because Angela was worried, she went to his residence to find out the reason.
Angela came and noticed the damage right away. A major storm had ripped off the majority of Lee’s home’s roof.
Lee couldn’t afford to fix his house after the storm. And to make matters worse, at around that time, his son had also perished in a snowmobile accident.
Lee rented an affordable trailer because he was broke and depressed.

Sarah, Angela’s daughter who also delivers pizzas, observed that Lee lived in that area. She described how awful his circumstances were to her mother.
Lee’s vehicle lacked electricity, a sewage outlet, heat, and water.
Lee’s condition broke Angela’s heart. But she did more than simply feel bad for him; she also made a decision to help him.
“I believed that action was required. We can’t allow a person to live like this.” says Angela.
One easy step was the beginning of everything. For Lee’s camper, Angela purchased a heater. Making his life a little simpler began with this action.
Then, Angela began a crowdsourced effort. As more and more people learned about Lee’s tragic story, the funds flooded in.
The campaign earned $32,360 in just two months. It was sufficient to purchase Lee a brand-new mobile home!
According to Angela, she would not have succeeded without the assistance and support of the neighborhood and many kind strangers.
Life-changing kindness
“We all had fun doing this. Not all of this is for Lee. All of us benefited.” adds Angela.
Angela entered Lee’s life at the perfect time and provided him with what he needed most—a loving heart.
He will always be grateful to her for opening the door for Lee to reclaim his life.
Whenever I read stories like these, it gives me hope in a world when tragedies like wars, natural catastrophes, and other atrocities are all too often.
Just goes to demonstrate how much goodness we all possess. We simply need to be aware of this and use our resources to assist those who are in need.
Angela is a fantastic illustration of how we may assist others who are less fortunate than us in breaking out of a vicious cycle.
