McDonald’s is getting criticized on TikTok by a guy who thinks it’s too expensive now because they raised the prices. When Topher visited his nearby McDonald’s recently, he was shocked to find that his usual meal – a Smoky Double Quarter Pounder BLT burger, large fries, and Sprite – cost him over $16.

Americans usually believed that they could get a cheap meal at McDonald’s without any problems.
But Christopher Olive, a person who makes videos on TikTok, has surprisingly hinted that this might not be true.
He recently shared his latest McDonald’s meal, which included a large serving of fries, a Sprite, and a Smoky Double Quarter Pounder BLT burger, in a video he posted last year.
This meal is definitely pricier than a Happy Meal if we consider what’s a reasonable cost.
Just a few years ago, you could usually get a meal like this for under $10, if not even cheaper.
Because of this, Christopher was really surprised when he looked at his bill and saw that he had to pay a big $16.10 for his meal.
In the video, he says, “I understand there’s a shortage of workers, I know wages have gone up, and other factors, but… sixteen dollars?
“Sixteen dollars for a burger, large fries, and a drink. It’s just unbelievable.”
Currently, the video has nearly 180,000 views and many comments from people online. It seems that people have different opinions about this.
Some folks are saying that paying $16 for a hamburger meal is way too much.
However, it’s important to remember that when costs go up, it affects the entire process of making and delivering food, which is why prices go up.
