No matter how much we try to be logical about it, there is something about entering the New year that gives us a feeling of closing one door , and opening another .
We can’t help the feeling of hope that the New year brings, especially with an old year like 2020,it is hard for us not to approach the 2021 with hope
A lot of us see the New year as a clean slate. An opportunity to start all over. To do better than we did the first time. We see it as an opportunity for change. To grow out of bad habits,and imbibe good ones. We see the New year as a time to set goals for ourselves, hence the need for New year resolutions. We make plans for ourselves, our families and friends.
The New year is also an opportunity to take stock of how our lives were the previous year.
We evaluate our highs and lows, were we went wrong and what we got right. Our evaluations help us to pinpoint areas we want to grow in and where we want to get better.

The type of hope that holds firm in the face of deep despair . I wish you the hope that lights up the darkness of doubt. The type of hope that keeps the light burning ,and the heart beating.
