Recently, Cavill joined his sweet dog on an appearance on the British morning chat show Lorraine.
Cavill’s dog was at his side when he spoke with host Lorraine Kelly, much to the pleasure of fans, and the actor spoke candidly about the importance of the animal to him.
“We go everywhere together, he is truly my best friend,” Cavill stated.
Kal has really helped him in maintaining his mental health, he said: “He has rescued my emotional and psychological bacon lots of times. Our relationship is quite close.” said Cavill.
“He is almost always close, but he will be closer when he feels that I am wearing my own clothing.”
With such a strong friendship, it makes sense that Cavill would want to keep his best friend close him at all times, including while he is working.
On the set of The Witcher, the Netflix fantasy series Cavill is presently starring in, he reportedly kept Kal with him.
Cavill elaborated, “He was there the entire time, and he spent the majority of his time in the trailer rather than on set.” Because he has a tendency to start making a lot of noise when he can see me but cannot reach me. We didn’t want him to come in halfway through a scene or especially a sword fight because he would hurt people. However, he was always present.“
In an interview with On Demand Entertainment, Cavill said, “He has been an amazing savior for me. He is a great companion, and he is there for me when I just need someone to be with me without expecting a lot from them.”
