Even though the acts of kindness we perform for others may seem insignificant to us, they can have a deep impact on those who receive them. What we must always remember is that every act of kindness, no matter how great or tiny, makes a big impact.
Jeff Lous has an interesting story to tell. This 22 years old man struggled to keep away from drugs, however he ended up succeeding in changing his life. He got a work and made the decision to stop relying on his parents financial support.
Jeff often begins work at around 12 p.m., but on one specific day he was asked to begin earlier. He was informed that he had an order to deliver to the Life Point Church. He was a little surprised when he was instructed to go inside the church and hand deliver the pizza to the priest. He accepted, but he thought the request was odd.
Jeff was going to receive an incredible surprise from someone he has never met, but he was unaware of this.
Jeff was heard mentioning that an amazing thing happened to him in an emotional YouTube video that he posted. He described how the churchgoers lined up to tip him as tears of happiness poured down his face. He was paid $700. He just couldn’t imagine how people could help him out in such a way.
It goes without saying that thousands of people saw his video and commented on how it was clear his expressions of thanks were sincere. He didn’t hesitate to express his joy.
This young man greatly appreciated the gesture because he is currently going through a substance abuse treatment procedure.
“I’ve been struggling recently as I try to support myself. I’m speechless to find that strangers willing to assist me at all costs!” Jeff say.
Because they wanted to wish Jeff well, a lot of individuals left comments on the video. “Man, I hope you clean up and change your ways. Best wishes,” one person remarked, while another added, “Stay clean my friend, join that church.” God desires that you go.“
