A Little Good Each Day

IF you can lay down at night, knowing in your heart that you made someone’s day just a little bit better YOU know you had a good day.

Evaluating the day is one of the best ways to keep track of how well you’re doing.

A lot of times we do not know how to track our productivity, for some of us, a successful day is one where we do everything that was on our list.

However, there’s something about being able to say you made someone’s day. It gives you a sense of fulfillment when lay down your head at the end of the day, and think about how you made someone’s this day.

It is easy to get so caught up in ourselves, that we no longer see what is going on around us. What if we  take a moment in each day to recognise the needs of those around us, and go out of our way to serve those needs,  we will not only have someone’s day, we probably would have made their life.

There’s a different kind of joy and fulfilment that comes from doing something outside of yourself doing something for somebody else. It can be as little as helping somebody cross the road, or helping them with that extra bag, or giving up your seat for somebody who really needs it not because society says so.

It could be helping somebody pay in some money or settle a bill, or even just calling somebody to check up on them. It doesn’t have to be something big. No, as long as it’s something coming from your heart, and you’re doing it for somebody else, you’d have made their day.

Then,  you can lay your head down on the bed at night knowing in your heart that you made someone’s day just a little bit better. And that’s how you know you’ve had a good day.
