The news that you are expecting a child is a dream for many couples, especially those who have struggled to conceive for a long time.
After years of trying, Australian couple David and Kate Ogg became parents, and they were thrilled to learn that their pregnancy was successful.
They never thought they would have two children after the ultrasound.
Kate gave birth early because twin pregnancies are frequently complicated. Sadly, her newborn son, whom she named Jamie, passed away soon after birth. Well that’s what the doctors thought.
Her daughter Emily was perfectly healthy, so it was hard for Kate and David to accept that their little boy couldn’t make it.
Before saying their final goodbyes, the doctors asked their parents if they wanted to spend time with him.
Even though his still-small body broke their hearts, they never stopped fighting for his life.
As they climbed into bed next to their son, Kate and David held him close to their skin and sang him sweet lullabies as they expressed their love for him.
Jamie occasionally gasped, but those parents were informed that it was just a reflex and that no miracles were anticipated.
However, that is precisely what transpired—a miracle. Jamie was forced to breathe on his own due to the skin-to-skin contact. He made it!
The parents knew that their love was so strong that it saved their child’s life, despite the doctors’ total shock.
David stated, I am fortunate to have a strong and sage wife. She carried out her actions instinctively. Jamie probably wouldn’t be here if she hadn’t.”
With both children in their arms, the contented parents were able to leave the hospital as it should always be.
Emily and Jamie are healthy children nine years later. The doctors were wrong to be concerned that the events might have an impact on Jamie’s life.
