I am a parent who is not just proud of one of my kids, but all of them.
God knows if I was asked to choose who my favorite is, I will always mention both of them. They came into my life when I didn’t feel the need to live any longer.

They gave me strength when I was at my lowest. I can remember the day I got to know that I had three hearts in my body, I was so happy and couldn’t wait to break the news to my husband, little did I know that it was going to be a sad day for me.
He wanted us to talk and he placed our divorce papers at my front and reminded me that I have been barren for five years and he was seeing my best friend.

I never knew my life could change from better to worse, but I was willing to stay strong because of the life that was growing inside me. I signed the divorce papers and told him about the pregnancy and he thought I was lying for him not to push the divorce.
I packed my luggage and left the place I called my home; a place I always saw myself running around with the kids. It has been one hell of eighteen years and I don’t regret having them in my life.
They will always be my source of strength, hope, and a reason to keep fighting. I love them so much and will always do.
