Be strong but not rude. Be kind, but not weak. Be bold, but do not bully. Be humble but not shy. Be proud but not arrogant.
Life can sometimes be a conflux where one is always being caught in the waters of trying to make ends meet and still be humane.
In trying to do these we get to a crossing point where we either strike a balance with life or develop a narrow view of life, which can negatively affect our relationships with people and possibly hamper our social approvals.
If we must live a balanced life, we must cultivate the habit of balancing our philosophies with the growing world’s social standards.
The time where you are accepted just-as-you-are is far gone, and we are in the age where you must balance your beliefs to conform to growing social norms.
Example is with the 45th US president, Donald Trump (DT).
He was popular and widely respect as a US real estate billionaire, but while pursuing his political career before and during his term as the US president, he expressed certain views that was perceived as intolerant and racist.
People’s perception of DT raised doubts about his credibility and arguably cost him his reelection ticket.
Regardless of what happens in the future, you should always balance your idea and philosophy about life if you want to be trusted, likable and highly rated.
