A wealthy father refuses to spend money on raising his newborn twins and tells his wife to give one up for adoption. When she refuses, he throws her and the babies out. Five years later, he comes begging for help.
On a cold, rainy night, Angie sat at a bus stop, holding her newborn twins close. “Where can we go? Please, God, help us,” she whispered, brushing away the tears on her babies’ faces. She had no home and no family to turn to.
Suddenly, she felt something moving behind her and froze in fear. Gathering her courage to protect her babies, she turned around—only to sigh in relief. “It’s just a dog!”
Angie never thought her life would change so quickly. She never expected that Jake, the husband she loved and trusted, would throw her and their newborn twins out just a week after they were born.

“I wish my mom were here today… I’m so sorry, Mama. I should have listened to you and not rushed into marrying Jake,” Angie cried, remembering her late mother.
“You can stay in this house if you agree to keep just one baby. But if you want to keep both, you’ll have to leave. Think carefully, dear.”
Angie met Jake five years ago after graduation. He was young and handsome, and she believed he was the one. Their love story felt like a fairytale—except there was no “happily ever after” for Angie.
Trouble began in their fourth year of marriage when Angie told Jake she was pregnant.
“But honey, I just started my business. We’ve delayed having kids for years, and I’m not ready to be a father yet,” Jake said, clearly upset when he saw the positive pregnancy test.
His reaction showed he wasn’t ready for responsibility. Angie, on the other hand, had always dreamed of having children. But how would Jake react when he found out she was expecting twins?

“I’m okay with having a baby…you understand? One baby is enough,” Jake said as Angie headed for her ultrasound. He laughed and added, “I just hope you don’t come back and tell me it’s twins!”
But fate had other plans.
When Angie returned from her scan, she looked pale and anxious instead of happy.
“What’s wrong?” Jake asked impatiently. “What did the doctor say?”
Angie took a deep breath, knowing how he would react. “Our babies are fine,” she said.
Jake froze. “Wait… babies?” he repeated in shock.
The ultrasound had shown two tiny lives growing inside her. She was expecting twins—and Jake was not happy.

Frustrated, he stormed off to his car, leaving Angie worried. She had thought he was joking about wanting only one baby, but his reaction proved otherwise.
As the days passed, Jake became more distant, focusing only on making money. Angie hoped he would come around, but things only got worse as her pregnancy progressed.
When she gave birth to twin girls, she waited in the hospital for Jake to visit them. He never did. Instead, three days later, he sent his maid and driver to bring Angie and the babies home.
Jake refused to bond with his newborn daughters. He didn’t greet them, hold them, or even acknowledge their arrival. He simply didn’t want to be their father.

That evening, as Angie returned home with her twins, Jake gave her an ultimatum. “We keep only one child and give the other up for adoption. If you agree, we stay a family. If not, you leave with both of them.”
At first, Angie thought Jake was joking. But when he dragged her suitcase into the living room and placed it in front of her, she realized he was serious.
“I’m not ready to raise two kids and spend all my money on them. My business is doing well, and I need to focus on making more. Why should I waste my time and money raising two babies when I can just raise one?” he said.
Angie was heartbroken. “They are our babies, Jake! How can you ask a mother to give up her child? Are you even listening to yourself? These babies are a symbol of our love,” she cried. But Jake wouldn’t budge.

“My business is growing, and I don’t have time for family. I won’t waste my hard-earned money on two children. You can stay if you agree to keep only one. Otherwise, you’ll have to leave,” he said, knowing she had nowhere to go.

Angie didn’t hesitate. She took her suitcase and left with her babies. Jake’s greed for wealth had made him forget his family. He had failed as a husband and a father—but he didn’t care.
Snapping back to reality, Angie found herself still sitting at the bus stop, holding her babies tightly. “Where will I go? Please, God, help me,” she sobbed. Suddenly, bright headlights shone in her direction.
“Hello, dear. Are you alright? It’s raining so heavily. Would you like a ride?” an older woman called from a taxi.
Angie looked up and saw a nun. She quickly wrapped her babies in her jacket and walked toward the car.
“Oh my, your babies are adorable!” the nun exclaimed. “Get in. I’ll give you a ride. Where do you want to go?”
“I don’t know, Sister,” Angie replied. “My life feels so dark, and I’m lost. Someone I loved abandoned me and my babies.”
Understanding her pain, the nun took Angie to the convent.

A New Beginning
At the convent, Angie and her twin daughters, Sophie and Marley, found a safe place to stay. She started teaching at the church-run school and worked part-time at a restaurant. After two years of hard work, she saved enough money to open her own café.
Slowly but surely, Angie built a better life for her daughters. It would have been easier if their father had been there, but she had no regrets. Despite everything, she never divorced Jake, hoping that one day he would realize his mistake and come back for them.
Five Years Later
Five years passed, and Angie now owned a small but cozy house. She cherished every moment watching Sophie and Marley grow.
At times, her business struggled, but she never gave up. With faith and determination, she expanded her café into two more coffee shops. Her success grew—but on the other side of town, Jake’s business collapsed.
Drowning in debt, Jake desperately sought financial help, but everyone turned him away. He soon realized that Angie was now wealthy, and the only person who could save him was the woman he had abandoned.
Angie opened the door, surprised to see Jake standing there.
“Hey, how are you?” she asked, not expecting his visit. “Come in!”

Jake forced a weak smile and immediately apologized. “Darling, I’m so sorry for abandoning you. My greed for money cost me everything. I’m bankrupt, and I know this is the punishment I deserve for throwing you and our babies out. Please forgive me… and please help me.”
Angie now understood why Jake had come. She had heard about his business failure but never expected him to show up, apologize, and ask for help.
As Jake stepped inside, his eyes landed on a framed photo of Angie with their daughters. Overcome with emotion, he broke down in tears. “I’m sorry,” he whispered.
Jake looked at the photo of Angie with their daughters and broke down in tears. “I’m sorry, sweethearts. Please forgive your daddy,” he said, his voice trembling.
Angie’s heart softened. She knew Jake had come back only because he needed help, but despite everything, she still loved him.
When she handed him a check for the money he needed, Jake was overwhelmed. “But darling, this is a huge amount. I don’t know when I’ll be able to repay it. I was such a cruel husband and a heartless father. Are you sure you want to help me?” he sobbed.
Angie took a deep breath. “The night you kicked me out, I learned how greed can destroy relationships. And today, I’ve learned the power of forgiveness. Holding onto past grudges won’t change anything. We all make mistakes, but we must also learn to forgive.”
Jake finally realized the depth of his mistakes. He promised to fix his life and, once his business was stable again, to take Angie and their daughters back. More than anything, he wanted to be a good father and make up for the pain he had caused them.
