A hidden secret my son kept for 14 years ruined our whole family in just one night.

I’m a 62-year-old widow with one son and three grandkids — or at least that’s what I thought.
But I recently found out something that shocked me: my oldest grandchild, who is now 14, is not actually my biological grandchild. My daughter-in-law was already pregnant with another man’s child when she married my son.

What hurts the most is that my son knew the truth the whole time and never told me. I’m sure they would have kept it secret forever if I hadn’t found out on my own.

When I found out the truth, I called my lawyer and removed my granddaughter from my will. I told my son, “She’s not real family, so she won’t get anything from me.” He just gave a small smile and didn’t say a word.

That night, my lawyer called and told me something shocking: my son asked him to remove his other two kids — my biological grandkids, ages 12 and 8 — from my will too. He said that he and the kids didn’t want any money from me.

I was heartbroken. I tried calling my son, but he didn’t answer. I thought he was just upset and needed time, so I waited.

Two days later, he invited me to dinner. I thought he wanted to fix things. But instead, he told me — in front of everyone — that I was no longer allowed to see his other two children.

He said, “My family is one whole unit. If you say my oldest daughter isn’t your family, then you don’t get to have the others either.”

I left their house crying.

Now I feel totally betrayed by my own son. He let me believe a lie for 14 years, making me think I had three real grandchildren. And now he’s taking away the two who are actually my biological grandkids.

I don’t know what to do. I never thought my son would ever treat me like this.
