A teenage girl was arrested for planning a Valentine’s Day school shooting in Indiana. The school had previously raised money to help save her life.

An 18-year-old girl, Trinity Shockley, has been accused of planning a school shooting on Valentine’s Day.

She was arrested on Tuesday in Mooresville, Indiana, and charged with planning a murder and making terrorist threats.

Police say she was planning to attack Mooresville High School on Friday. They received a tip about her plans on Tuesday night, according to Fox 59.

Police and the FBI searched her home that night.

They found evidence that she was planning a mass shooting and arrested her.

She is now in the Morgan County Jail with no option for bail.

Shockley was in the news before when she was hit by a suspected drunk driver while crossing the street in 2022.

Mooresville Schools raised money to help her recover. She had several serious injuries, including broken bones, a sprained ACL, and brain injuries.

After the accident, her aunt Angela Altmeyer told Fox 59 that Shockley was a fun and active girl who was always on the move.

Shockley lives with her single father, Tim, who served in the military for 19 years before leaving for medical reasons.

Altmeyer said the father and daughter were very close, calling them “best friends.”

She also shared on a GoFundMe page that they had just started a new life in Indiana before the accident happened.
