Katie Hannaford had a surprising moment during her daughter’s sports day on June 15, 2022. While running in the parents’ race, she tripped, and her dress flew up, accidentally exposing herself to the crowd.
Looking back, Katie shared that her oldest daughter had urged her to join, saying, “Come on, Mum! You always did it for me.” Though she was unsure at first, Katie decided to run to have fun and make her daughter proud.
Katie handled the incident with humor and even shared the video online to make people laugh. “I posted it in a parenting group for a bit of fun,” she said, surprised at how fast it went viral.
When asked if she’d race again, Katie firmly said, “I’ve promised my daughters I’ll never do another parents’ race.”
Even though it happened, Katie is still in good spirits but plans to stay out of any future races.
