Paul Harvey was a well-known American news commentator and radio pioneer, famous for his unique speaking style. He had a huge audience and was easily recognized for his dramatic pauses and distinctive way of presenting news stories.
Even though he was very accurate in his reporting, no one expected that his famous words from years ago would actually describe today’s reality. More than fifty years ago, the well-known ABC Radio commentator Paul Harvey, born in 1918, seemed to predict what the United States would be like now during a broadcast in 1965.
