Ships are built to sail the ocean surface because sailors prefer to breath fresh air, but submarines are built to explore the oceans because there is more to see and study below the surface. There is another world to discover when you built a ship that can also sink without drowning. Nowadays mankind would also explore what is in outer space, with air so thin above our atmosphere, we would have to have artificial lungs, or mankind has to mutate to reach their dreams?
